From Toogo 2 to Toogo 3: where we stand
No storytelling, just facts: where Toogo stands a year on. Toogo 2 is here, Toogo 3 is coming — software that gradually becomes a working agent.
No storytelling. Facts.
The train has left. We're on board.

In early 2025, in the first edition of Travel & Tech & Us, we talked a lot about CHANGE. You may remember the line from Stéphane Amarsy we quoted back then: « It's better to deal with change before it deals with you. » A year later, we can say it: we're right in the middle of it. Let's be honest: we had our worries. And we still do today - that's normal, we're in the middle of change. What we don't have, though, is a real problem. And above all, what we haven't lost is your TRUST. Artificial intelligence was arriving at an impressive speed. Every week seemed to bring a new tool, a new possibility, a new promise. In tech, of course, but also in travel and in our daily lives. Like many, we asked ourselves questions. How fast would all this evolve? What would software look like in a few years? How would the DMC business change? Were we moving fast enough? Were we making the right choices?
And above all: what should Toogo's place be in all this? We had also written that, if you felt a little left behind by the speed of change, there was no need to panic: take the next train, it's coming. A year later, we can say it: that advice, we applied it to ourselves too. We took the train. Not always on time, we have to admit. But we're on board.
2025: we had a roadmap. Reality had its own calendar.
In three lines, here's where we stand
2025: we saw change coming. 2026: we're in it. We want to turn this technological head start into something radically simpler for you, the DMCs.
In our previous edition, we presented several developments planned for 2025. Some arrived on time. Others didn't. As a reminder: in June 2025, our AI assistant Raimundo was born. And in September 2025, right in time for the new season, came what was probably our finest achievement of the year: the new quote, or webquote 2. And there we were, thinking we had come a long way… but reality moves so fast that it had already caught up with us. Part of what we thought we'd deliver between June and December 2025 finally arrived in 2026 - and keeps arriving. The Task Manager shipped in early 2026. The Travel Guide App, our traveller app, in June 2026. The new CRM is only just shipping this month, in September 2026 - almost a year after what we promised, exactly as you're reading this issue.
Malaga, early 2026
A little relief. A lot of work ahead. In early 2026, part of the Toogo team met up in Malaga. After a particularly intense 2025, we needed to reconnect, to look at what we had really accomplished and what was still left to do. And yes, there was a form of relief - a real one. Because in early 2025, the question we were asking wasn't a small one: what would the impact of AI on Toogo be? Did Toogo have a future? We have loads of ideas, a Toogo 3 already... It was a real shock.
A year later, in Malaga, we could at least answer part of that question: we hadn't stayed on the platform. We had modernised our technical foundations. Started to transform the way we develop. Integrated new tools. Evolved our vision of AI. And the projects we had announced were becoming real.
We treated ourselves to a bit of good time. But we quickly got back on track, because a few months later, the relief hadn't lasted very long. Once on the train, another question comes very fast: where do we want to go? A hard question, because everything changes every month. AI moves fast - too fast, sometimes, to have real certainties. You have to keep learning, stay on watch, accept that you never really « know » in advance. And that's maybe the most important thing we understood this year: being aware of it. Knowing that it moves fast, and dealing with it - rather than hoping it will settle down. That's probably where our thinking about Toogo changed the most.
Toogo 2 in 2026
September 2026, Toogo 2 became a reality. We won't list all the new features here: some have been mentioned and you'll discover them directly in Toogo. What seems more interesting is to explain why we built them. We focused heavily on the user experience. On UX and UI, to make things simpler, clearer and more pleasant to use. We listened a lot to our DMCs to understand how they navigate Toogo, what they look for, what saves them time... but also what makes them lose it. These exchanges gave rise to new screens, new views, a new overall ergonomics and a new visual identity, which you'll also discover in this edition.
But Toogo 2 isn't only what you see. We also worked enormously on what's behind it. Simplifying and modernising our architecture was probably less spectacular than a new screen. And yet it was essential. Because to build what comes next, we first needed the right foundations.
Toogo 2 isn't a destination. It's our new starting point.

You talked to us a lot. And we learned a lot.
Something else happened this year. We received many demo requests and met DMCs from very different worlds, all around the globe. Some already knew Toogo. Others had heard of it. Some have worked for a long time with a competing software and came, out of curiosity, to discover our approach. Others don't yet use any real business software. Companies of different sizes. Different destinations. Different organisations. And, inevitably, different needs.
We don't know exactly what brings them to us. Maybe they hear more about Toogo. Maybe thanks to the way we communicate. Maybe it's tied to our curiosity about their profession and the transformations under way. Probably a bit of all that. But what really interests you is what they tell us.
Because Toogo was never meant to become a software designed in a technological bubble. We come from the world of DMCs. We know that behind every file lies something no software can sum up: field knowledge, a trusted supplier, a good address, an idea, a human relationship, sometimes years of experience. Technology isn't the journey. It has to let those who create it do their job better. That conviction hasn't changed. What is changing radically, though, is the way we can get there.
And where does AI fit in all this?
A year ago, we were wondering what AI would be able to do. Today, we ask the question differently: what will we be able to entrust to it? For a long time, artificial intelligence was mostly conversational. You ask it a question, it answers. You ask it for a text, it writes it. You ask it for an idea, it offers ten. That's already wonderful. But what interests us now lies one step further.
With the technologies we're integrating today, we're gradually building a toolbox that will let an AI agent act directly inside Toogo: create, complete, search, check, add, prepare, organise, communicate... We deliberately won't detail everything here. Some things are already possible, others are in development, and others are still part of our horizon. But the direction is clear, and it has a name: we're aiming for an agentic Toogo. Behind this technology lies a very simple idea: today, you have to learn to use Toogo. Tomorrow, Toogo will have to learn to work with you.
And maybe that's the paradox: the more technological Toogo becomes, the more our goal is to give you back human time. Time to talk to your clients. Time to discover a new hotel. Time to negotiate with a supplier. Time to go into the field. Time to imagine an itinerary no one had imagined before you. Time to create. Because we still believe that, in the middle of all these transformations, a DMC's value remains deeply human. We don't want to automate what makes you unique. We want to gradually automate everything that stops you from being more so.
The train of change left a long time ago. It isn't Toogo's train. It's the train of our industry, of technology and of our professions. We chose to get on board, like many of you. We don't know exactly what the landscape will look like in three or five years. But we know why we move forward: for DMCs, with DMCs, to keep creating extraordinary journeys.
No longer just talk, but act. Raimundo must ACT! Vamos Raimundo!
Horizon 2027: Toogo 3
This is where the journey gets truly interesting. Maybe because it smells of the unknown… We made a lot of promises last year, and some took a few months longer than expected to arrive. So this time, we'll be careful with the dates. But not with our ambition. Our vision for Toogo 3 is software that gradually becomes a working agent: an agentic Toogo you can converse with and to which you can entrust tasks.
Today, to perform an action in software, you have to know where to go: open the right menu, find the right file, click in the right place, fill in the right fields, move from one screen to another. We want to reverse this logic, little by little. Imagine a far simpler interface, a space where you could simply talk to Toogo the way you'd talk to someone on your team, and write to it: « CONFIRM THIS FILE FOR ME. » Three very simple words. But behind them, a lot of work: understanding the file, checking what's missing, taking the necessary actions, updating the information, preparing the communications, generating the tasks to do.

Today, it's you who must know all the steps. Tomorrow, our ambition is for Toogo to understand them in your place. We're not there yet for everything. And we really don't want to tell you that everything will be magic next January. We'll still test, get it wrong, learn, correct, listen. But today, unlike in early 2025, we no longer look at this transformation with the same worry. Above all, we see what it can make possible for us.
Our promise for 2027: Toogo becomes your assistant, instead of an interface that types and executes.
Toogo 1 was a tool.
Toogo 2 becomes an augmented platform (2026).
Toogo 3 will become your agent (2027).
